Absurd Cycle Of Hooking Up

This work portrays my perspective on the hookup culture and the notion of utilizing sex as a means of freeing oneself from the societal double standards concerning sex. However, to what extent is it truly liberating to believe in having bodily autonomy when one is involved in a never-ending, meaningless cycle of unfulfilling sexual intercourse with strangers? Sex has transformed into a disposable activity where both parties involved are objectified and deprived of their humanity, being reduced to mere objects. What kind of liberation or freedom can one achieve by becoming an object? And how truly liberating is it truly to reduce your worth to your genitals? This work presents an honest opinion and it is not meant to be liked by everybody.
