About the project

Natura.Fem, a women's health company focused on natural approaches to menopause, needed a visual identity that would reflect their commitment to natural remedies and promote their products effectively to their target audience.

Based on findings, I developed a brand strategy that emphasized Natura.Fem's commitment to natural remedies and the importance of nurturing the female body through mindfulness, exercise, and natural products. I created a logo and visual identity system that incorporated natural elements such as leaves, symmetry, and used a calming color palette to convey a sense of serenity, balance, and elegance.

Early Concept Development

Exploring ideas

When beginning the project, I made the decision to create a logo with a minimal, geometric look that would effectively represent the brand and convey a sense of structure, truth, and naturalness. I chose to use geometrical shapes in order to evoke a connection with nature, as symmetry is often associated with positive values found in the natural world

Hexagone

As a top priority, I aimed to create a logo design that exuded balance and harmony. Through my research, I discovered the hexagon and 'honeycomb' shape, which philosophers consider to be a manifestation of divine harmony in nature. The honeycomb shape also represents honey, which is harvested by bees. Symbolically, bees are regarded as guardians of the natural world and represent wisdom, birth, and rebirth. With this information in mind, I incorporated the hexagon into the logo to symbolize balance and harmony while also nodding to the significance of bees and their connection to the natural world.

Plant + Running

I also decided to explore ways of combining the flexibility and flowiness of a plant with the human form in a running action to represent the brand's values of growth and moving forward. Plants are symbols of growth, and their stems often symbolize our connection to our origins. Meanwhile, the running form represents initiative and the drive to move forward. By combining these elements, I aimed to create a logo that not only represents the brand's values but also captures the attention of the target audience.

Incorporating elements

After conducting extensive exploration, I successfully created several logo marks that combine the hexagon, leaf, and running man into one unique mark. The final design is minimalistic, commanding attention and conveying a sense of power, professionalism, and elegance.
